Turn printed words in a picture into editable text in a DOCX file.

    3. Select Create Word file and open the downloaded DOCX to review the text.

    Common questions and quick fixes

Will Image to Word keep the original design?

This tool creates an editable text document from OCR. It does not reproduce the image layout, photos or exact table formatting.

Why does my Word document contain spelling mistakes?

OCR can confuse similar characters, especially in a blurry image. Use a sharper, straight image and select the correct language. Proofread the result in Word.

Can I convert several images to one Word file?

This tool accepts one image per conversion. Convert each image separately, then combine the text in your document editor if needed.

Why does image recognition seem slow?

The first run downloads OCR language files. Large images also take longer to process. Keep the tab open while the conversion finishes.

Helpful tip: Use a close, well-lit photo with readable printed text for a cleaner Word result.
